Teletubbies-Inspired Summer Collection 2014

Not much has changed in the way of Teletubbies fashion, but the brightly-coloured creepy bear things have secretly been a huge influence over the industry for many years. Here, we pay our tribute to the weird singing humanoids in our Teletubbies-influenced summer collection - great for getting back to the roots of fashion.

1. Big Orange Ball

Sported by Teletubby Lala, the large spherical object can really reflect your inner playfulness. Who remembers that episode where Sex in the City's Carrie Grant introduced the big orange ball to the New York scene? Of course, the big orange ball is now a staple to contemporary fashion, but tracing it back to its roots teaches us to be more confident in wearing bigger, oranger, baller balls, just like the horror movie doll lookalike who wore it first.

2. Cow Print Hat

Dipsy is not doubt one cool mutha. His genuinely original combination of skin the colour and texture of green astroturf and cow print hat really took the world by storm. The big labels immediately caught up on this, including Ralph Lauren and Hugo Boss. However, since its introduction in 1997, the style has evolved to what we now see as high street brand zebra print hats. I know what you're thinking: what happened to transmute this fabulous design into something so tacky and ostentatious? Get back to the roots and wear your cow print hat with pride.

3. Red Bag

Pretty gay to be honest. I mean no way does that red does not go with Tinky's abrasively fuzzy purple skin.

4. Totally Really Fast Scooter

Totally really fast scooter. Scoot scoot scoot. Nyooooom. Dazzle passers by with a fashionable glide on your totally really fast scooter, inspired by Po. Scoot scoot.
